NOTICE
TERMINATION OF REPRESENTATION
Armond Budish (D), Speaker of the Ohio House of Representatives:
We, the people of the State of Ohio, acting upon the principles of the Declaration of Independence, the United States Constitution and the Constitution of Ohio do hereby tender notice that we no longer support an Ohio House of Representatives that:
* Fails to fairly and seriously deliberate all legislation proposed by the Representatives elected by the People of Ohio.
* Prevents legislative initiatives passed by the Senate from reaching the Floor of the House for consideration.
* Places party politics over the well-being of the people of Ohio.
* Has obstructed the progress of a bill that would provide economic incentives to businesses that hire the unemployed
* Has obstructed the progress of a bill that would provide economic incentives to banks that lend money to small businesses to finance operations, expansion and employment.
* Has obstructed legislation that would strengthen the sovereignty of Ohio and the safeguarding of its People from the damages resulting from the usurpation of power by the federal government without the Consent of the People of Ohio in general, and with reference to proposed federal energy and health care legislation in particular.
The Declaration of Independence clearly states that your authority comes solely from the consent of the governed. Therefore, be advised – WE NO LONGER CONSENT TO YOUR ACTIONS AND WE WILL NO LONGER BE SILENT!
We hereby withdraw all support from you and this House until such time as you prove your commitment to the principles of the Declaration, the US Constitution and the Ohio Constitution.
