Brunner Disqualifies
Christopher
Late Friday Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner's office leaked to the press the story that Tea Party organizer and Attorney General candidate Steve Christopher is disqualified from running for Attorney General because only 638 signatures on his petitions were valid. State law requires 1000 valid signatures for AG. A worksheet obtained over the weekend indicates that the 638 valid signatures were among 788 submitted by the candidate, a validity rate of over 80%. There's one problem. Steve Christopher has a receipt from the Secretary of State's office for 2,750 signatures. So what did Jennifer Brunner do with the 1,962 signatures her office didn't check?

Last summer we circulated petitions demanding that our legislators Read the Bill before they voted. In the winter we objected to the Senate voting for a "Health Care" bill that hadn't even been written before the Senate voted on it. Now we have the Obama health care bill that is so vague that the CBO can't even provide a cost estimate as required by law before the vote begins. So our legislators are supposed to vote on a bill that can't even be described?

The White House is "Stuck on Stupid". Thanks to the dereliction of duty of the Liberal Media, a lot of Americans were still clueless about what is really going on in Washington; backroom deals, payoffs, the House and Senate violating their own rules, disregard of the Constitution and partisan politics to such a level that elected representatives were effecively muzzled and locked out of legislative proceedings.
With the televising of the Health Care Summit on C-SPAN, millions saw for themselves what has been going on.
Infighting among the radical left has reached a new fever pitch in the aftermath of this "Summit" (charade). The only thing that George Soros, Rahm Emanuel, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid agree on is that Obama is inept. Thank God.
Al Gore still missing
Ever since a record breaking snow dumped on the Copenhagen Summit on Global Warming weeks ago, Al Gore has been mysteriously missing. Perhaps he is enjoying Global Warming on a beach somewhere contemplating the millions he has made perpetrating this hoax.

In a shocking display of not the message of the election in Massachusetts, the Ohio Republican Party Chairman Kevin DeWine played "politics as usual" to get David Yost to drop his campaign against RINO Mike DeWine, and instead run for Auditor. Seth Morgan, a CPA and Tea Partier, had already tossed his hat into the ring when Mary Taylor agreed to run as John Kasich's running mate (Ohio law requires him to have one). Conservatives across the state were mortified by David Yost's decision (which resulted in a massive influx of contributions to his campaign from currently unknown sources), and to have the detested DeWine running unopposed for AG.
Round one for the ORP "good old boys".
Steve Christopher, a fellow patriot, would not let that stand. An attorney with 26 years experience, an NRA life member and Tea Party speaker tossed his hat into the ring, with almost no time left to obtain the necessary signatures to get him on the ballot. The word went out to conservative grassroots organizations to help Steve get those signatures. Patriots across the state scrambled for signatures all weekend and right up until the deadline.
Yesterday Steve made his run for Attorney General official by turning in the maximum legal number of 3000 signatures. Seth Morgan also filed for State Auditor with over 2200 signatures. David Yost was helped by ORP staffers and worked the Lincoln Day dinners, to collect less than 2000 signatures. Mike DeWine will have opposition in the primary. Whether or not Seth Morgan has primary opposition in the primary remains to be seen.
Round two for patriots.

Kent Moore, chairman of the party in Belmont County (on the West Virginia border) said last week, “I’ll be happy to explain to Seth (Morgan) that the reason he will not receive the support of this chairman at this time is ... because he needs to learn to respect the GOP and its elected leaders, before he can expect to earn our support.”
Hearing of that, Martin Gottlieb quipped "Given the standing of the GOP with the public, opposition like that could put Morgan over the top."
Maersk Alabama
Attacked by Pirates Again!
The Maersk Alabama whose captain was held hostage by Somali Pirates until they were killed by a U.S. Seal Team's snipers, has been attacked by Somali pirates again. The pirates were unaware that since the first hijacking, the owner's of the Maersk Alabama have changed their policy requiring that crew members be unarmed, and the crew quickly repulsed the pirates.
The incident escaped the notice of the Mainstream news Media but not the United Nations. The UN's Maritime Safety Committee was outraged by the incident, and immediately issued a harshly worded letter discouraging the use of firearms for personal protection or for the protection of a ship.
The UN is still working on a letter to the Somali Pirates who currently hold 11 ships and 254 crewmembers captive.
Gibbs vs Palin
Press Secretary Robert Gibbs tried to ridicule Sarah Palin's having 4 words written on the palm of her hand, to stay organized for her 45 minute speech in Nashville.
This coming from the Press Secretary of a President who uses teleprompters when he talks to elementary school kids, and needs an upgraded teleprompter which will also pronounce the words for him.

Here We Go Again!
Dave Yost, starved for campaign donations, abandoned his run for Attorney General leaving Mike DeWine, an unrepentant RINO who was angrily rejected in 2006 by the conservative base for his role in "tarnishing the brand", with an uncontested primary.
Yost instead decided to run against Seth Morgan for State Auditor, and Yost is bragging that since his decision $100,000 has flooded into his campaign.
So where did all that money come from?

Chamber of Commerce hosted a breakfast with Congressman Boccieri on Monday, Jan 11. Attended by approximately 200 local businessmen, they were polite but clear. Their message to Congress - "Back Off!"

Sheriff's Set record straight
Sheriff's at the 2nd Amendment Forum at the 356th Fighter Group forum made it clear that regardless of Obama's changes to Executive Order 12045, Interpol cannot search houses or arrest people without a warrant signed by a judge and served by the Sheriff's department.
If Interpol makes were to make any such attempt without said warrant, Americans have the right to defend themselves.
Anyone needing help defending themselves should call for 911 for assistance.

Obama - It's Too Cold!
President Obama is reportedly angry that he could not stay in Hawaii for at least a few more weeks. Although he is totally committed to passage of Cap & Trade and the surrender of American sovereignty to combat global warming, Obama grew up in balmy Hawaii and sultry southeast Asia, and does not like the cold of Copenhagen, Washington D.C., or just about anywhere else east of Hawaii.

that both the Fort Hood shooting rampage and the nearly successful bombing of a Delta flight arriving in Detroit were "isolated incidents" of criminal activity, in spite of both people being muslim extremists who were working with the same Al Qaeda organizer in Yemen. The administration continues to work to release all remaining prisoners in Guantanamo Bay to unnamed "community organizers" in Yemen.
Homeland Security Chief
Said that "the system worked" when a radical islamist terrorist's effort to blow up an international flight arriving in Detroit was foiled by his own ineptitude and the heroics of passengers. Asked later to justify her startling evaluation of the security breach, she said she was not referring to the terrorist attack itself, but to the conduct of the two reviews
the President finally ordered to determine the cause of the security failure.
Perhaps one or both of those reviews will determine that Janet Napolitano is wholly incompetent and should be replaced as Homeland Security Chief by someone who views muslim extremists as more of a threat to national security than servicemen, veterans and Tea Party participants.
Obama is Angry
That another one of his "living large" vacations, this time to Hawaii, has been interrupted by the demand that he impersonate a President. He is still trying to thaw out from his trip to pick up his Nobel Prize and failed trip to negotiate away American sovereignty at Copenhagen's record cold summit on global warming, and then his return to DC for 2-3 days of "work" snowed in at the White House by a fierce blizzard.
What's wrong with this picture?
The radical left's solution to prevent future incidents like the near disaster in Detroit is to strip search all passengers. Only muslims will be exempted from the strip searches; it is against their religion and would therefore be a violation of their civil rights.

So was Fox News. The White House doesn't like their reporting the news, either. Only 10% of the participants of this jobs-creation "summit" have any private sector experience.

Everyobody has heard about the scandal called "Climate-Gate", the intentional fraud being perpetrated by the scientific think tank upon whose scholarly "findings" the Global Warming hoax has been based. Oddly enough, after 14 days of rocking the scientific and political communities throughout the world, America's Mainstream Media has still not reported this information to their viewers.
