A number of the tools and techniques presented herein can be readily adapted to other but similar uses with a modicum of commoon sense.

2009 General Election - Medina County Local Candidates
Here is the spreadsheet.  These candidates need to be researched and supported/opposed.  Volunteers?

Volunteer!
Click on this link to access our Volunteer Interest Form.  Fill it out and email it back to us, to help us identify where you can (want to) make the biggest impact.  Please be sure to note the items you believe you are qualified to lead a team of volunteers.  We are firm believers in the proposition that great things can be done by people doing what they want to do, or leveraging their specific skills.  Don't see anything on the form that matches your unique skill or what you want to do?  No problem.  Let us know what you have in mind.

Contact Elected Officials
http://www.capwiz.com/nra/dbq/officials/  This link is provided by the National Rifle Association, which is the best engine we have found yet to identify and contact elected officials at the national, state, and local level.  The majority of people who have been elected want to be re-elected, they want to be liked, and they want to believe that they are doing what most of us want them to do.  Which means that if you contact them like a friend or neighbor, make your points in a compelling but non-adversarial manner, that frequently enough of them will end up voting your way that you've won the majority vote.  Concealed carry in Ohio and the Castle Doctrine are two cases in point, where we did not originally have the votes to override the Governor's vetor, but we convinced enough members of the Governor's own party to go against him to win this legislation.  No threats, just basic beliefs, values and reason.

Organize
Refer to our Worthwhile reads page to see how political parties are organized and operated, county, state and national levels.  Want to "know the ropes" of political parties?  Here they are.  They are must reads for those who want to do in 2012 what we had to do in 1980.  Collected by a former Secretary of the Cobb County (GA), 6th Congressional District (GA - Newt Gingrich) and 7th Congressional District (GA - Bob Barr) Republican Party.
